Mushroom Yellow Chili Seeds

Information: The Mushroom Yellow Chili originates from the USA and bears a resemblance to the scotch bonnet, although it is classed as belonging to the Capsicum annuum family. The plants have relatively small, long, light green leaves. After branching out for the first time, they continue to ramify further relatively close together, however, they still have a relatively slimline growth form.

The thin-walled fruits are approximately 4 x 4cm large with a mushroom-like shape, which is the reason behind their name. The peppers ripen from green to yellow, they develop an intense spicy heat and are well-suited for drying, using to make sauces and salsas or for stuffing with a tasty filling.

Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C  and 28°C (germination period: 7-20 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised permeable soil and should not be left in standing water. They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered place with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, if not more. The earliest time to place the plants outside is 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. The plants are also easy to take care of throughout the winter if they are grown in pots. It might be necessary to cut them back slightly and place them in a light place where it is at least 15°C.

1A Qualität

Eine Bestellbestätigung sowie eine Versandbestätigung per E-Mail sind in der Auftragsabwicklung inbegriffen.

Das Saatgut kommt nach Sorten getrennt in kleinen ZIP-Beutelchen aus Kunststoff an.
Jedes Beutelchen hat ein Etikett mit wichtigen Eckdaten wie Sortenbeschreibung, Mengenangabe, Schärfegrad und ein Keimfähigeitsdatum.

Da es unterschiedliche Methoden/Varianten mit unterschiedlichen Erfolgsraten gibt um Saatgut zum Keimen zu bringen,
kann ich nur anhand der von mir gewählten Methode beurteilen.

Die Samen wurden auf ein nasses Papiertuch gelegt, welches in einen verschliessbaren ZIP-Beutel gelegt wurde.
Dieser wurde dann an einen warmen Platz gelegt bis die Samen aufgekeimt sind die Sätzlinge und mit ca. 3-4 cm länge eingetopft wurden.

Bei dieser Sorte sind mir 5 von 5 gekeimt.
Anhand der eigenen Erfahrung würde ich die Keimrate des Saatgutes auf 95 bis 100% schätzen.

Nach 8 Tagen die ersten Keimlinge. Nach ca 13 Tagen umgetopft. Bin gespannt wie sie sich machen. Super Produkt

Ich ziehe zum ersten Mal Chilis groß und bin absoluter Anfänger was Pflanzen angeht. Habe mir im Februar folgende Samen bestellt: Habanero Chocolate, Joe\'s Long Cayenne, Bih Jolokia, Mushroom Yellow, Tennessee Tear Drop. Habe von den insgesamt 50 Samen 14 angesät. Keimquote 100%! Keine Vorbehandlung! Keimdauer 8-12 Tage. Die Keimlinge konnten sich alle problemlos aus der Samenhülle befreien. Als Erde habe ich die Anzuchterde hier im Shop verwendet. Bin zwar Anfänger, aber ich wüsste nicht, was hätte besser laufen können. Top-Produkte!
