Juniper berries, giant, whole
Our hand-picked, large Juniper berries come from Tuscany, and with their spicy and resinous taste are extremely versatile in the kitchen: for Sauerkraut, Sauerbraten, Fish Stock, Marinades, Sauces, and for marinating meat and game.
Juniper berries have a very intense flavour, so should be used sparingly.
The berries are usually crushed before use.
Tip: During pregnancy, Juniper berries should only be used in small amounts.
