Organic Avocado Oil

Virgin organic avocado oil, cold pressed, first pressing.

Avocado oil is extracted from the fatty pulp of the avocado. It can be used to prepare food, salads, etc., but is also used in cosmetics. When applied, it permeates deep into the skin and moisturises especially dry and chapped skin.

Avocado oil contains many unsaturated fatty acids, including omega-9, which is considered to lower cholesterol. It also contains vitamins A, D and E. When cooked, its smoke point is very high, which means it can be heated to very high temperatures. For vegans, it is suitable as a substitute for butter in baking.

For the production of this organic avocado oil, only the flesh of fully ripe avocados from organic cultivation is used. The oil is pressed at low temperatures up to max. 40°C without light and air supply.
