Original South Tyrolean Schüttelbrot - crispy, crunchy and mildly flavoured flatbread.

Handmade in traditional handwork: The dough is hand-shaked to its flat form with a round wooden board that is turned fast in the circle while throwing the dough permanently easily upwards. This requires great skill and practice and can not be replaced by any machine as it loosens the dough and gives the baken bread its unique crunchy bite.
Try the South Tyrolean Schüttelbrot with bacon or tangy mountain cheese to a glass of wine or beer.

The Bakery Näckler was founded in 1920 and now exists in the third generation. Today the grandchildren of the founder Hans Näckler run the company and have specialized in the production of fresh bread as well as "Schüttelbrot". Over the decades, the focus was mainly on traditional production and the use of the best regional ingredients.
The production of hand-shaken bread by hand is very time-consuming and requires a great skill of craftsmanship. This is the only way to preserve its unique taste and consistency.
