De Berao Brown Tomato Seeds
Info: The egg tomato De Berao Brown is a firm, reddish-brown heirloom that is particularly popular in Russia. It is one of the largest tomato varieties with growth heights of over 3 metres. In addition, the plants are very well suited for outdoor cultivation in mid-latitudes. Their resistance to bligh is almost legendary. The oval tomatoes are firm, weigh approx. 50 g and are particularly suitable for sauces and pasta.
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
