Kohl Rabi Superschmelz Seeds
Info: Kohlrabi Superschmelz is a breeding that breaks all records: the tubers grow slowly, but reach huge sizes of up to 3 kilograms, and there have already been some achieving record weights of up to 15 kg. Nevertheless, the tubers remain butter-soft and have an excellent taste. Do not plant too deep, otherwise the tubers may burst. This Kohlrabi can also be stored well.
Sowing & cutivation: Sow outdoors between March to the end of June. For a late autumn or winter crop sow in August. Sowing depth: 1 cm, in rows 30cm apart. Kohl Rabi likes partial-shade, in firm, fertile, free-draining soil. Kohl Rabi grows best during cool weather and matures quickly, progressing from sowing to harvesting in a couple of months. They are not quite hardy enough to be classified as a winter vegetable, but they do withstand frost if there is snow or a cover.
