Whole Cascabel Chillies 500g

The Cascabel Chillies are small, round, mild peppers with a bright red colour. The pods are moderately hot, with a sweet, slightly smoky, nutty flavor with a rich tannic nuance that goes perfectly with meats, chicken or fish.

You can rehydrate them for not more than 20 minutes in warm water for making a paste or using them in a sauce or soup. You can also add the pods directly to any recipe with a cooking time of 10 minutes.

The name Cascabel means "rattle" in English referring to the sound the loose seeds make inside a dried Cascabel when the chili is shaken.
