Great White Beefsteak Tomato Seeds
Info: The Great White Beefsteak tomato is a creamy white to light yellow when ripening beefsteak tomato with flat-round fruits that can weigh up to 500 g. While at first glance it doesn`t have the typical colour of a tomato, the taste is absolutely fantastic - mild, sweet and fruity. They are suitable for fresh consumption, for preserving and for making marmelade. The plants grow relatively large (up to 2 metres) and need rods to support them.
Care: You can grow the Great White beefsteak tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
