Golden Sunburst Tomato Seeds
Info: The Golden Sunburst tomato is a delicious tomato from the USA which is a feast for the eyes in the garden as well as in salads and buffets. The plants produce many medium-late ripening fruits which have a juicy and firm fruit flesh. The flavour is a balanced sweet-sour taste, and they are suitable for both fresh consumption and for cooking. Due to their cut-resistant nature they are particularly suitable for salads and sandwiches.
Care: You can grow the Golden Sunburst tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
