Outdoor Girl Tomato Seeds
Info: The Outdoor Girl tomato is an excellent variety for growing outdoors as it can also withstand a few cool days. They grow up to 1.50 metres and have numerous red, round tomatoes, which weigh up to 150 g. Sometimes the fruits have a slight yellow-striped colour. The tomatoes ripen particularly early and carry through to September. They have a savoury flavour, are relatively durable and are suitable as salad tomatoes as well as for cooking and preserving.
Care: You can grow the Outdoor Girl tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
