Rotondino Tomato Seeds
Info: The tomato `Rotondino` is the small relative of the popular Italian heirloom Rotondo di Parma, which has been cultivated and refined for centuries in the Emilia-Romagna region. The small, bright red and flavourful tomatoes are hanging on rich panicles and are suitable for snacking directly from the bush as well as a delicious splash of colour in the salad.
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. Cover the seeds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
