Sweetcorn Earth Tones Seeds
Info: The Glass Gem corn is also called rainbow corn and offers a beautiful play of colours. In addition, they are slightly translucent and therefore glitter like a colourful game of glass gems. In addition, the cobs have excellent roasted corn quality with a crispy consistency and a strong corn flavour. The plants can grow up to 3 metres tall and are an eye-catcher in the garden. The cobs are not only suitable for decoration, but can also be processed into delicious and colourful popcorn.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow from May on outdoors. Use a dibber to make 2.5cm holes and sow two or three seeds every 30cm with 45 cm between rows. Sweetcorn grows best if planted in large blocks. It likes free-draining, moisture retentive and nutrient-rich soil. The plants are shallow rooted: protection from winds and water loss in the soil is very important.
