Firecracker Chili Seeds
Info: The Firecracker Chili is a very productive and small-growing variety that produces a variety of small, almost pyramid-shaped chillies that have a beautiful play of colours when maturing: from white-violet to yellow, orange to a bright red. The plants grow approx. 70 cm in height and are well suited for pot culture on balcony or terrace. The pods are very tasty with a medium heat while the heat can vary strongly from fruit to fruit. The chillies are versatile in use: they are suitable for fresh eating, for the salad, for cooking, drying and pickling.
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating pad is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
Tips for successful chili cultivation can be found in our Chili Cultivation Instructions and in the Chili Diary.
