Silvretta Chili Seeds
Information: The Silvretta chilli produces very large red chilli peppers with a fruity flavour and intense aroma. This variety is ideal for growing outdoors. It produces bright red, long chillies that are reminiscent of peppers.
Care: The germination temperature is between 21 and 28 °C (12 - 21 days germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, well-drained soil and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be placed in a full sun, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more. Place the plants outside at the earliest approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. If you cultivate the plant in a pot, you can overwinter it. To do this, you may need to cut it back a little and place it in a bright spot with a temperature of at least 15°C.
