Aji Habanero Chili Seeds

Information: The Aji Habanero originated in the Andes of South America. Its name comes from their intense spiciness and their appearance – the peppers are shaped like a pointed habanero pulled out to its full length. They ripen from green-yellow to orange.

The plants are very robust with vigorous growth, they are well-suited for being planted outside. The chillies have a fruity flavour similar to that of the habanero chili and they taste great eaten fresh and uncooked, as an ingredient in a sauce or for drying.

Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-20 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. As the plants have a particularly long maturation period, it is recommended to grow them in a pot, so that you can easily bring the plant inside when the temperature falls below 12°C during the day, allowing all the fruits to ripen. To keep the plant over the winter, cut it back by 20cm after harvesting and place in a light place where it is at least 15°C.

Fun little paprika, no heat

Seeds started nicely, the plants seem somewhat vigorous and carefree. Nice. But! No heat, no capsaicin - this is not a "chili", this is a "tiny pepper-berry".

Die wächst, schaut gut aus und schmeckt süßlich. Aber sie ist leider nicht ansatzweise scharf. Sogar meine Nachbarin die nie scharf isst, schmeckt nichts scharfes. Echt schade

Schöne Pflanze, aber leider null scharf

Erst war ich begeistert, es sind sehr schöne, große Pflanzen mit reichlich Früchten dran. Leider sind sie nicht mal ansatzweise scharf. Selbst mein Freund, der Scharfes nicht mag, konnte sie essen.

Lecker, aber nicht scharf

Ich war begeistert von der Keimrate (4/4 sind gekeimt), dem schnellen Wachstum und der Größe der Pflanze, allerdings war ich sehr enttäuscht von der Schärfe, welche quasi nicht vorhanden war. Bitte in der Beschreibung anpassen.
Deswegen nur 8 von 10 Punkten.

Lieferung war sehr schnell,habe die Samen in Mini-Gewächshäusern angepflanzt und warmgestellt.
Von 12 Sorten sind 2 Sorten überhaupt nicht angegangen, bei 2 Sorten nur jeweils eine, bei den anderen Sorten jeweils 3 - 4 Samen.
Mal sehen wie sich die Plänzchen dann im Freiland verhalten.

Hohe Keimrate, und auch das Endprodukt welches ich bereits letzten Sommer schon selbst Zuhause hatte waren durchaus lohnenswert!
Die ersten Zwerge keimten dieses Jahr bereits nach 5-6 Tagen im Zimmergewächshaus.

Keimrate bei etwa 90% im Zimmergewächshaus ohne Heizmatte in Kokos-Quelltableten.
Keimen meiner Meinung nach schneller als normale Habaneros.
