Puerto Rican Yellow Chili Seeds
Info: The Puerto Rican Yellow Chili is an extremely high-yielding variety with bright yellow, lantern-shaped, spicy and juicy fruits. The leaves and stem have a light violet colouring and the chilies have a violet sun protection, which harmonises nicely with the green and later the yellow. The chilies have a fantastic, fruity flavour, therefore they are most suitable for making spicy, fruity sauces. They are also good dried, and are suitable for making into a spicy yellow chili powder.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
