Super Giant Beefsteak Tomato Seeds

Info: The  Super Giant beefsteak tomato develops extremely large, beautiful beefsteak tomatoes, which live up to their American name “beefsteak” in terms of size. The very large growing plants of up to 2 metres in height regularly produce the exceptionally delicious and beautiful fruits, which can weigh up to 1500 grams. A highly recommended variety which has few requirements, however the branches should be supported.

Care: You can grow the Super Giant beefsteak tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.

Die Samen haben eine schlechte Keimfähigkeit. Habe bei optimalen Bedingungen auf der Fensterbank mit Wärme/Feuchtigkeit und Anzuchthaube 80% Ausfallquote. Meine bisherigen altbewähren Sorten hingegen haben eine Keimfähigkeit von 90%.
