Andine Cornue Tomato Seeds
Info: Andine Cornue is also known as the "Andeanhorn" and comes from the Andes of Ecuador and Peru. This particular variety makes orange-red, paprika-like, firm, fleshy tomatoes. The individual fruits can be up to 300g heavy. With their fine, sweet taste they are one of the most popular and best beef tomatoes. They are great for soups, sauces or salads.
Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. Cover the seeds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
