Irish Scream Barbecue Sauce
CaJohns Irish Scream Barbecue Sauce is the counterpart to the popular Irish Scream Hot Sauce and has been refined with a dash of Irish whiskey. A fine, tangy barbecue sauce with the subtle taste of smoke that can be enjoyed pure as a table sauce or used for cooking or marinating. The Irish whiskey rounds off the taste wonderfully, but don`t worry, the sauce does not contain any alcohol so it can still be enjoyed by children and teenagers too. Irish Scream Barbecue Sauce is only mildly hot and is therefore suitable for the whole family.
Shelf Life / StorageThe expiry date printed on the product refers to an unopened product in unrefrigerated storage. After opening, the product can be kept for at least 6 months if stored below 7°C.
How to use
Take a nice, marbled neck of pork weighing about 2kg and marinate it with plenty of Irish Scream Barbecue Sauce, leaving in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Place the pork chop in an open casserole dish and slowly cook in the over at 100°C (top and bottom heat) for around 8 hours. The meat should be covered in sauce. Add a small amount of water to the casserole dish every now and then to form a sauce. Thanks to this low-temperature cooking method, the meat positively falls apart and is nevertheless very succulent. Of course, Irish Scream Barbecue Sauce also tastes delicious with bratwurst, spare ribs and steaks.
