These are something a little out of the ordinary and are specially made for us in a small manufacturing facility, processed immediately after harvesting. All fans of spicy cuisine are bound to enjoy them. However, we have still taken care to ensure that we do not exclusively stock pickled specialities that might have been cooked by the Devil himself. This is why there is a range of different spice levels, some of which are also within the range which represents a real asset for unpractised chili eaters.

Pickled green pepper is harmless, but still really good

Green pepper does not have any spicy heat to speak of, however it does have a very distinct taste of its own, turning it into a real highlight when added to other dished. Our green pepper does not come from the aforementioned manufacturing facility, but from a special producer. Hunter’s schnitzel, roast dinners and grilled pork chops are all given a delicious flavour. For barbecues, do not add until after the meat has been barbecued. Top tip: Use a slice of toast to soak up and savour the taste of this pickled speciality’s delicious brine.

Spice level 4: Celery salad and crunchy asparagus with chili

Level 4 pickled specialities can be tolerated by newcomers to spicy cuisine if they are served with a neutral side dish. Food and drinks that are high in fat are highly recommended for quickly alleviating the burning sensation in your mouth. If you just become acquainted with speciality picked produce, and want to use them as an ingredient in your cooking then you should be very careful in how much you use and taste the dish several times before serving. Well-trained chili eaters need not be afraid of our delicacies within this spice level and should be able to cope without any special side dishes.

Spice level 5: Red beetroot and gherkins with chili

Our gherkins and beetroot, both of which have added chilies mixed in, are two examples of picked specialities which are in the medium range of spiciness. Spice level 5 is already so hot that rookies in this area will definitely need the aforementioned fatty side dishes to help ensure that the spicy heat subsides quickly. Hardened chili heads won’t have any trouble enjoying this spice level.

Spice level 7: Gherkins with habanero red chilies

Pickled specialities rated at level 7 pose a real peril for newcomers to spicy cuisine. If you really want to try these pickled gherkins, we can only advise you to try very small pieces of gherkin and chili beforehand. Over time, you will become more accustomed to this level of spiciness. Please take care to ensure that no juice or vegetables come in contact with your eyes or any other sensitive parts of the body. If you follow this advice then enjoying these pickled specialities with an added kick is sure to give you a great deal of pleasure.
