Chopped Sage

Sage is predominantly used in Italian cooking as a seasoning, for example in pasta sauces, meat, fish or pasta as well as salads. Sage stimulates digestion and is therefore often used in fatty dishes. Sage oil is used as a fragrance by the perfume industry as well as in medical science, where it is often used to make cough drops, for example.
