One of the worlds largest, if not the largest, chili fair takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For the first time it was created in 1988 by Dave DeWitt, the American "Chili-Pope", and has been organized by him every year since then.
More than 200 exhibitors are showing their products and innovations for chili and barbecue, among them well-known sauce manufacturers as well as small labels. The chili product range is overwhelming and a real El Dorado for every chili fan.
In the afternoon, the exhibition is also open to the interested public and there is plenty to try and buy.
