Smoky, savory and kinda hot.

Chipotle chillies are smoked jalapeño peppers, they therefore have a pleasant smoked and more intense aroma.
Featuring a red jalapeño, tomato and red bell pepper base, this hot sauce piles on the fine herbs and spices, with black pepper, oregano, sugar, thyme, cinnamon, clove - even cocoa powder.

Use this sauce as a main ingredient in your marinades for pork, turkey and chicken or just splash on a bit to your morning omelet, your sandwich etc.

Shelf Life / Storage

The expiry date printed on the product refers to an unopened product in unrefrigerated storage. After opening, the product can be kept for at least 6 months if stored below 7°C.

nicht scharf, aber gut

Das ist kein Rachenkiller sondern eher ein Dip mit angenehmem Schärfegrad. Als Zutat zu Eintöpfen, Chilis etc würde man viel zu viel brauchen. Direkt auf gegrilltes oder Nachos passt sie dafür gut.

Die ganze Reihe an Zutaten (u.a. Thymian, Zimt, Nelken, Oregano) gibt einen Beigeschmack, den man zuerst als "seifig" empfinden kann. Dafür gibts nicht so einen Essig-Ton wie bei vielen anderen Saucen. Und wenn man sich dran gewöhnt hat, hat man einen angenehmen, rauchigen Dip.
