Onion North Holland Blood Red Seeds
Info: North Holland Blood Red is a very versatile onion. You can harvest them young as spring onion, or ripen longer for a stronger flavor. It forms bright red onions with a mild-spicy taste. It is excellently suited as raw food, for adding to salads or to fried onions.
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can take place from April to June. The seeds are covered with soil in a plant depth of 0,5 cm, well pressed and kept moist. After germination the seedlings can be separated. The planting distance should be 10-25cm. Sow on a loose, strong soil which is not pre-fertilized. The harvest can take place from September, as soon as the foliage has fully departed.
