Winter-Style Crazy Cow Beef Short Ribs (Low & Slow)

Winter-Style Crazy Cow Beef Short Ribs (Low & Slow)

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1.5 kg beef short ribs

  • 6 tbsp Crazy Cow Barbecue Sauce

  • 2 tbsp coarse sea salt

  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika

  • 2 garlic cloves, lightly crushed

  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary

  • 150 ml beef stock

Instructions

  1. Season the short ribs generously with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

  2. Preheat the grill for indirect heat or the oven to 120-140°C (250-285°F).

  3. Cook the ribs low and slow for 3-4 hours until tender.

  4. After about 2 hours, brush the ribs with Crazy Cow Barbecue Sauce and add garlic and rosemary.

  5. Pour in the beef stock, loosely cover, and continue cooking until the meat is fall-apart tender.

  6. Remove the cover, brush again with Crazy Cow Sauce, and let the ribs caramelize for the final 15-20 minutes.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with baked potatoes, red cabbage salad, and an extra drizzle of Crazy Cow Barbecue Sauce on the side.
