Chiclayo Chili Seeds

Info: The Chiclayo Chili pepper comes from Peru and is one of the smaller chiles from this region. The bushy plants grow to about 60 cm high and carry the pretty 3-4 cm long pods that ripen from green to a light peachy orange. They have a distinctly fruity flavour with a medium to fiery heat. They are great in sauces, salads and salsa.

Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 30°C (germination period: 6-20 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised permeable soil and should not be left in standing water. They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered place with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, if not more. Place the plants outside around 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.

Ertragreiche Sorte mit einer tollen Schärfe

Die Sorte hat ein sehr guten Ertrag und ist hat ein lange Ertefenster von Juli bis Oktober.

Buschiger Wuchs mit ca 80cm. Beeren bzw. Früchte hängen schön in einer Reihe pro Pflanzenaustrieb.

Abreifen der Beeren von Grün zu knalligen Rot ist begeistert.

Die Schärfe ist im guten Mittelfeld, irgendwo vor einer Habanero, sehr verträglich.

Eignet sich super für den Einsatz als Pulver, Salz, Paste oder auch zum Einlegen.
