Info: The little-known in Germany, but highly appreciated in southern Europe variety Silverskin Paris impresses with its particularly mild and delicate taste. It is often used to refine light sauces. Also harvested as spring onion, they are ideal for picking or mixed pickles. The small onions are also a very tasty addition to salads or stews.Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can take place from February to June. The seeds are covered in a planting depth of 0.5 cm with soil, well pressed and kept moist. After germination, the seedlings can be separated. The planting distance should be 25cm and the row spacing 10cm. Sow on a loose, strong soil that is not pre-fertilized. The harvest can take place from July to September, as soon as the foliage is completely ripened.
