Organic Filius Blue Ornamental Chili Seeds
Information: The decorative Ornamental Filius Blue chili plant not only looks beautiful with its round fruits and different coloured leaves, it also tastes great too.
The very hot peppers ripen from green to purple-blue to a brilliant red. They are smooth, round and shiny, bearing a slight resemblance to plums. The degree of spiciness changes as the fruits ripen and the chillies become milder as they turn red.
A fantastic plant that will enchant any chili-lover with its beautiful colours (green leaves with violet edges) and the myriad of splendid fruit it bears.
Care: Germination temperature is between 20°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-20 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised permeable soil and should not be left in standing water. They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered place with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, if not more. The earliest time to place the plants outside is 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. If cultivated in plant pots, you can also take care of them through the winter. To do so, you should cut them back by around 20cm and place them in a warm, light place where it is at least 15°C.
