Runner bean Red Rum Seeds

Info: Red Rum is an early, high-yielding British barley bean. This variety makes a wealth of 20cm long pods and few foliage. This makes them very easy to harvest. This robust plant grows under almost any weather conditions and is therefore also suitable for rough situations.

Sowing & cultivation: The sowing should be about 3 cm deep. Press seeds and cover with soil. For row sowing the distance shoould be 40 cm with a grain spacing of 6 - 8 cm. When sown as a pit sowing, the distances are 30cm at 5-7 seeds per planting site. Sow the beans in humus-rich, well-drained garden soil in a warm, sheltered, sunny to partially shaded place with even moisture. If necessary, separate. The stability of the plants is improved by sowing in clumps.
