Danish Smoked Salt

This Danish Smoked Salt is a gourmet sea salt with a pleasant smoky flavour.

Danish Smoked Salt contains sea salt from the Dead Sea, which is then laboriously and carefully cold smoked in Denmark. The procedure for making Danish Smoked Salt can be traced back to the Vikings. The traditional cold smoking process makes this Danish Smoked Salt lighter in colour than other Viking salts.

Thanks to its smoky flavour, Danish Smoked Salt is especially delicious with cooked fish or other grilled dishes. However, it can also give  vegetarian recipes and many other that special "je ne sais quoi".

Shelf Life / Storage

Gewürze verlieren durch die falsche Lagerung einen Teil ihres Aromas. Gewürze sollten kühl, trocken, luftdicht und dunkel gelagert werden.

Extra Grill-Flavour und Mehr

Wie immer super schnelle Lieferung binnen 2 AT.
Das Danish Smoked Salt entspricht voll meinen Erwartungen.
Durchdringendes Holzkohle-Raucharoma steigt einem beim Öffnen des formschönen 6-Eckglases in die Nase. Der Salzgeschmack ist beim Pur-Probieren neben dem Raucharoma ebenfalls sehr kräftig-intensiv. Da ist sparsames dosieren angesagt mußte ich feststellen. Die Salzkristalle sind durchschnittlich 1mm groß. Während dem Grillen lösen sich die bestimmt schön im austretenden Fleischsaft auf. Zum späteren drüberstreuen sind mir die Kristalle aber zu grob. Mit meiner Salzmühle habe ich das Rauchsalz pulverfein gemahlen und es sieht dann schneeweiss aus. Ich denke in dieser Form ist es praktisch universell einsetzbar, da auch das Raucharoma feiner dosierbar ist. Ein super Alternative und Ergänzung zum Räucherpaprika "Pimenton de la Vera". Kaufe ich bestimmt wieder wenn alle.
