Siberian House Pepper Chili Seeds

Info: The Siberian House Pepper originates from Siberia and is relatively easy to cultivate in our part of the world. It was bred especially for the windowsill for a relatively short growing period, and is a quick growing variety which manages well in relatively little light. It is therefore very suitable for newcomers to chili cultivation. The plants remain relatively small and are good for growing in pots. The white flowers with blue stamens are particularly striking. From them develop many small, pointed chillies which ripen from green to red. They have a powerful spiciness and a sweet and fruity pepper flavour. They can be  used to make sauces, for cooking and for drying.

Care: The germination temperature is between 20  und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
