Info: Celery cabbage is the fastest growing variety of celery. The tasty spice herb is related to the celeriac, but a tuber formation is missing in this variety. The aromatic leaves, which are reminiscent in the taste of parsley, lovage and celery, can be used in many ways. They are often used in soups, salads, sauces or herbal dips.

Sowing & cultivation: The sowing should take place from March in preculture or from April directly into the field. Since celery is a light germ, the seed should be little covered with soil. Seeds should be lightly pressed and kept moist. From May, the young plants can be planted outdoors at a distance of 40cm². The plants need a regular irrigation and regular additions of fertilizer. For optimal growth, celery needs a nutrient-rich, humus-rich soil. To prevent sycamore, liming the soil is recommended.
