Whole Dried Sichuan Facing Heaven Chillies
Sichuan Facing Heaven Chili is the classic chili for Chinese cuisine. It is mainly use whole dried in the hot and spicy Western Chinese Sichuan cuisine. The Sichuan cuisine is the only kitchen that combines all pepper-like spices (chili, white pepper and local Szechuan pepper) within one dish.
Sichuan facing heaven chillies are a medium-hot, fragrant chilli pepper with a thin skin and citrus notes. Therefore, it is an excellent ingredient for many dishes with fish or chicken as well as Asian cuisine in general. The Sichuan dried chillies are a pantry-staple when it comes to Sichuanese cooking, and are often fried whole in oil at the start of recipes. Sichuan facing heaven chillies are also delicious in piquant pickles, or used to infuse chilli oil.

How to use
Rinse the dried Sichuan chillies first with warm water, soak in hot water for 10 min. to rehydrate or add directly to the recipe that will cook at least 10 minutes.
