Onza Rojo Chili Seeds
Info: The Onza Chili Rojo comes from the region of Oaxaca in Mexico and is a very beautiful plant with silvery hairy leaves and branches. The bushy plants can get about 85 cm tall and are very productive. The chillies are about 5 cm long, ripen in bright red and are very fragrant with a pleasant moderate heat. They are suitable for seasoning, drying, pickling and for fresh consumption.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (8 - 21 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
