Aji Cristal brown whole dried
The Aji Cristal chilli originates from Chile and is prized there for its exceptionally fruity aroma.
The variety belongs to the chilli species Capsicum baccatum and this variety has brown pods. They have a uniquely delicious taste - sweet and sour and incredibly fruity. In addition, there is a fiery, long-lasting heat.
It goes well with fish, vegetables and grilled meat or to spice up dips and sauces.
You can grind the pods coarsely, finely or use them whole. In this case, the pods are either cooked directly or soaked in hot water for approx. 10-20 minutes beforehand.
