Voatsiperifery Pepper originates from a wild growing climbing plant (Piper bourbonese) from the jungles of Madagascar. Little more than 1 tonne per year is harvested by hand, making this pepper a real rarity which is sought after by top chefs worldwide.
It has an intense spiciness and an extraordinary flavour, which is described as lemony, liquorice or flowery. The Voatsiperifery Pepper refines both meat dishes (lamb, venison) as well as fish, salads and dark sauces.
